Fountain Hills Community Theater Youth Theater is proud to announce the opening of the third show of the 2008-2009 Season, Willy Wonka Junior. This show is partially underwritten through a generous donation from Wells Fargo Bank in support of their programs for youth.

Willy Wonka Junior, Roald Dahl’s timeless story of the world-famous candy man and his quest to find an heir, comes to life in this stage adaptation of “Charlie and The Chocolate Factory,” which features songs from the classic family film “Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory.”
All of your favorite characters and songs (including “The Candy Man” and “Pure Imagination”) are featured in this show that overflows with music, comedy and heart.

Willy Wonka Junior is produced by Anne Kelleher and Bill Beamish, directed by Miciah Dodge, and choreographed by Denise Kelleher.

Willy Wonka Junior cast members include Fountain Hills residents: Christina Allbright, Beverly Anderson, Olivia Anderson, William Beamish, Allie Bice, Skye Brewster, Devin Derr, Michelle Farella, Thomas Ferington, Josey Leigh Hawkins, Patrick Moyse, Zachary Percevecz, Jennifer Simmons, Eternity Stallings, Katie Van Deinse, Amber Vaske and Tyler Wise. Scottsdale cast members include: Tay Coben, Lindsey Garland, Layne Gross, Mackenzie Johnson and Elizabeth Schauer. Jordyn Moreland and Molly Stellino hail from Phoenix, Nick Maddox is coming to us from East Mesa and Jessica Miller makes the trek from Gilbert. Technical aspects of the show are also supported by local youth who work both backstage with stage manager Linda Ferington, and in the light and sound booth.

This heartwarming family show will run from Dec.5 - Dec. 21. A holiday festival will follow each performance of the play, with a special visit from Santa Claus. Performances are on Fridays at 7PM and Saturdays & Sundays at 2PM. Ticket prices are $15 for adults and $12 for youth 17 and under. Group rates are available.
